The free flow of information, the speed of change in knowledge and skill, the interventional technologies, the changing social mindsets and the resultant lifestyles, emerging global challenges in sustainability and environmental, the impact of consumerist tendencies call for re-engineering the way our future generations would think and design their standards and quality of life. The current ‘schooling patterns’ are under serious threat to move from ‘established patterns’ to more ‘creative approaches’ to enable enterprise and innovation. Disruption in schooling should facilitate more freedom to learn, more gateways to learning opportunities, more learning centric educational processes, more inputs for self-learning and self-directed learning. The workshop focuses on the need for resetting the current learning architectures to more purposeful and result-oriented methods that empowers the leadership for the future.
