WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

This highly interactive workshop will present the student benefits of engaging with the
international Peace Education Program for students aged 14 years and above. In
addition to our interactive panel presentation, we will show engaging clips of professors
and students who have participated in the Peace Education Program. The course is
offered free of charge by The Prem Rawat Foundation.
This innovative video-based, student-centred, strength-based course helps students
discover their inner resources. The course consists of 10 sessions, each of which
explores a theme: peace, appreciation, inner strength, self-awareness, clarity,
understanding, dignity, choice, hope and contentment.
Each session consists of various components including activities that are designed to
support a variety of learning styles and enhance student learning. Through watching
videos, reflection and interactive activities, students are encouraged to come to their
own understanding and develop greater self-awareness. The Foundation provides a
complete Educator’s Guide and Student Workbook, as well as professional
development workshops for educators.
The course is available in 1,650 educational institutions worldwide and has had over
175,000 student and teacher participants. In India, through MoUs, it is currently offered
on Swayam Plus Portal under the Ministry of Education, in 100+ schools under the
Department of School Education, Faridabad, Haryana, and several universities such as
Galgotias University and Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University.
