This session explores how Finnish-inspired practices can provide practical pathways for future-ready schools, addressing key challenges in K-12 education. Beginning with the early years, we will discuss active learning and play-way methods, along withobservation-based assessment approaches that align with India’s NEP 2020 vision—moving beyond traditional paper–pencil assessments.
The workshop will also examine the balance of skills vs. content in the AI era, and how artificial intelligence can actually make teachers more human by supporting creativity, critical thinking, and personalized learning. We will highlight the importance oftechnology, infrastructure, and the overall learning experience in shaping meaningful classrooms.
A strong emphasis will also be placed on teacher well-being, highlighting the crucial role of supporting and valuing teachers in creating sustainable and thriving education systems. The session format will be interactive, using guiding questions to engage participants and address both common concerns and advanced challenges.
